October 1 is International Coffee Day, and those of us in the wedding industry (and anyone who has ever had to plan a wedding) run on caffeine! We know many of our couples are fellow coffee lovers, and there are so many ways to incorporate everyone’s favorite morning (afternoon, evening…) pick-me-up into your wedding day. Check out our 5 coffee-themed wedding ideas that are sure to keep your guests grooving all night long.
The easiest way to incorporate coffee into your wedding is by hiring any of the wonderful coffee cart companies in the DFW area. Many coffee carts will also customize the cups with stickers of the couples’ names and wedding date!
A coffee cart is also a great addition if you’re having a dry wedding!
Some of our couples’ favorites:
– Nightowl Coffee Cart
– Tierra La Taza
– The Rose Coffee Cart
– Olive Coffee Cart
Coffee-themed favors are one wedding favor your guests will surely use after the big day! Whether it’s bagged coffee with a personalized label, bottled cold brew, coffee mugs, chocolate-covered espresso beans, coffee scented candles or soap… the possibilities are endless.
With a trip to HomeGoods or help from a rental company, you can also DIY a coffee bar. Set up a dispenser with syrups, coffee, and custom cups. You can also ask your caterer if they include or can set up coffee service!
With our convenient location in the heart of Fort Worth’s trendy Near Southside district, there are plenty of fun places to sneak off for photos during your reception or cocktail hour. Ostreum couple Anna & Garrison snuck away to Summer Moon Coffee on their wedding day! There’s also Roots Coffee House and plenty of breweries and bars including Ostreum staff’s favorite hangouts – Nickel City and Southside Cellar!
So many desserts can be coffee-infused from cake to fudge and cupcakes to chocolates. If a coffee cart itself won’t fit into your wedding design, a coffee-flavored dessert is a great alternative.
Would you include any of our 5 coffee-themed wedding ideas into your wedding day? We love this trend and hope it stays around for many years to come. See y’all later – I need a coffee now!
