Corner ceremony
When you toured The Ostreum, this is most likely the way the ceremony space was set up. Most of our couples chose this option because of the amount of space for their bridal party to stand during the ceremony. There’s also space for an arch or a hanging floral installation, and a nice long aisle to walk down.
Diamond ceremony
You’ve got a diamond on your finger, so put your ceremony chairs in a diamond shape! This ceremony option is such a cool way to bring your guests closer to you, as you and your spouse are the center of attention! Your bridal party can sit on the front rows and still feel a part of the ceremony. Tons of candles on the floor down the aisle and surrounding you in the middle looks so dreamy in the space.
Round ceremony
Similar to the diamond shape, you are literally surrounded by all your loved ones with this ceremony option. It’s such a warm and cozy ceremony option, whether your guest count is large or small. Everyone feels included, and you feel all the love. Put some rugs on the ground or stand on a pedestal so everyone can see you. Place your officiant toward the opening in the back so guests aren’t looking at their backside – ha!
On the east wall
We have done this ceremony option once, and would love to do it again! The only catch is that more guests are sitting on one side than the other due to where the columns are in the ceremony space. But with traditions out the window these days, guests are more comfortable sitting wherever they’d like, and couples are more open to doing something unique and different. There’s plenty of room for your bridal party to stand with you, as well as a backdrop or floral installation.
