ceremony/ Reception:
Yes, the venue is all one floor but can be divided up by our lush gray velvet curtains. so there is no flipping necessary if your guest count is 200 or less. There is a convenient flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. Just a few small steps away from each other. When the weather is pleasant you may even host cocktail hour on the front porch. Part of our process when you book The Ostreum is customizing a layout for each individual space that you use. Then our set up team will have it all ready when you come in on the day of your wedding. Our couples find that a beautiful seamlessness to their event is achieved with how the venue is laid out and experienced.
capacity/ accomodations:
The venue can hold up to 400 guests for a ceremony and reception and even more for a reception only. The venue is all one floor with 4 bathrooms, ample parking and ramps to provide handicap accessibility. We recently hosted a wedding and the couple raved about how wonderful it was that the entire venue was on one floor making it super accessible for a big group of elderly guests.
location:
The venue is located just South of Downtown in the original O.B. Macaroni building right off or I-30 and 35. South Main is an up and coming area close by where you will find a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and breweries to keep your guests happy. Any hotel you choose downtown will be just minutes from the venue. We are happy to share hotel recommendations that provide room blocks and shuttle services. Our location has benefited many couples that need to accommodate lots of out of town guests while also allowing them to easily experience the best of Fort Worth while they are here.
dressing rooms:
We have two suites available for getting ready. One is downstairs and has a masculine feel with dark blue walls, leather couch and flat screen tv. The other one is upstairs and MUCH larger with a bright, modern and more feminine feel. It contains a hair and makeup station with salon chairs, two lounge areas, full length mirror, two bathrooms, hidden tv, eating area and beautiful entrance directly opening to the ceremony space.

cleaning:
We offer a “full cleanup” option that you can add on to any package. This means that at the end of the night all you have to worry about is taking out anything that is yours and anything that you would like to keep and our team will come in and take care of the rest. Part of our process involves having your venue layout setup when you come in so your family and friends will NEVER have to move a chair or table. There will be a venue manager available the day of your wedding that will ensure everything is taken care of with the venue. We also pride ourselves on connecting you with some amazing planners that are fabulous to work with. At The Ostreum our brides, grooms and their families tell us they are able to ENJOY the day in a calm and stress free environment.
parking:
Our parking lot is right out front and wraps around the entire building. We also have access to the neighboring lot- plenty of parking to host 400 plus guests. When you book The Ostreum one of the inclusions is our parking attendants. This is a group of guys that will be waiting in the parking lot, ready to guide your guests to a parking spot the moment they pull in. They will then show your guests to the front entrance. Even when we have been maxed out to capacity we have never had an issue with parking. We are also happy to connect you with a preferred valet company that does an outstanding job.
pets:
Yes, we love celebrating with furry friends! Pets are allowed in the venue as long as there is a designated caregiver at all times with them. We can’t wait to post your Instagram photos of your wedding day with your fur babies at The Ostreum!
security:
Yes, security is provided with all venue packages. We will set the security up for you so you do not have to worry about it. They will be present from when guests arrive until guests leave. This satisfies as security for alcohol purposes as well.
Event Day:
Friday-Sunday events are one event per day. This allows the bride/groom/client to have the venue for the entire day. There are no restrictions on how long you have in each space of the venue. It is ALL yours to use however you would like. Time in is negotiable and time out is 1 am. Our couples find a lot of freedom in the time allotment they are allowed. Especially if you are getting married off site, you have the ability to get ready in the venue and then come back after ceremony without having to transport items making everything more convenient for you and the wedding party. Which also means more time to CELEBRATE! And there is always the option to add on additional hours if needed.
destination:
We have an amazing communications team that guides our out of state couples through the entire process. We begin by offering facetime tours, virtual tours on our website and responsive email and phone availability throughout the planning process. We also offer skype and zoom final meeting options. We have couples who have booked The Ostreum without ever stepping into the venue and have gone on to have the most beautiful weddings in our venue.
dressing rooms:
We have two fabulous suites available for getting ready. One has more of a masculine feel with dark blue walls, leather seating, a large projector for streaming all the things and a pool table. The other one is a bit larger with a 1920s glam vibe. It contains a hair and makeup station, changing area, lounge space, dining table, a wall of vintage mirrors, a private bathroom and private entrance. It is common for jaws to drop once our couples step foot for the first time in our unique speak easy suites. No doubt you too will LOVE getting ready at The Ostreum!
